Project Management

Overview​

On the ThingsIoT platform, each project is an independent IoT platform instance that supports device connectivity, data acquisition, business processing, visual analysis, and other tasks for a specific application. To ensure that each deployment can be built and operated efficiently and securely as intended, ThingsIoT provides a flexible project-management mechanism.

Quick Start​

First, add a project instance. A project is a collection of resources in ThingsIoT. Users can bind multiple gateways to a project, configure data-acquisition projects, view device data, and perform other operations.

Follow the steps to add a project instance.

After the project is created successfully, its information is displayed, and existing projects can be edited.

Note: To prevent accidental deletion, you must enter your login password when deleting a project instance.

Click Details under a project instance to open the Gateway Management page.
